After I completed my studies, I opened my own art gallery as an enthusiastic “Wahlbamberger” in the heart of the old city, on the road to the cathedral.
After a year, a move to Herrenstraße was arranged - close proximity to my trade- colleagues is essential, because beyond its tourist attractions, Bamberg has developed a permanent fair for art and antiques. The density of galleries located there as well as their dedication to gathering the highest quality items has made this location an international magnet for art and antiquity collectors.
With the large selection of high-quality objects of every taste and focal point, these tradesmen have created an incomparable overall picture of the art trade in the Bamberg old city.
Our beautiful rooms display an extensive inventory of exquisite 17th & 18th century furniture, paintings, museum-quality silver and handicrafts difficult to find in this abundance anywhere else in Germany.
Our business also includes our own restoration facility to ensure the quality of our furniture and their state of preservation. My long-term partner Christoph Freiherr von Seckendorff and I work together in our store and workshop along with a team that has grown to 10 employees.
